India - Rajasthan 2007 - Dehli

Rajasthan is the largest state of the Republic of India in terms of area. It borders Pakistan to the west, Gujarat to the southwest, Madhya Pradesh to the southeast, Uttar Pradesh and Haryana to the northeast and Punjab to the north. Rajasthan covers an area of 342,239 km² (132,139 mi²).



Delhi is the second-largest metropolis in India after Mumbai with a population of 13 million. Located in northern India on the banks of the River Yamuna, Delhi has the political status of a federally-administered union territory known as the National Capital Territory of Delhi.



On the photo: Gurdwara Bangla Sahib, the most prominent Sikh gurdwara, or Sikh house of worship, in Delhi. It is instantly recognisable by its stunning golden dome and tall flagpole.
